Four Branches of Possibilities in the Art of Negotiating :
- yes and yes - an absolute yes, a definite answer which can be defined as the happy ending, the best scenario in the realm of possibilities this is the ideal path to be taken… but very hard to achieve.
- yes and no - an experimental answer which may lead to complications, because first, the yes meaning ” I agree to your term, but you will follow my rules”… which may lead to the “I wish you’d never closed the door” groveling part.
- no and no - an absolute no, case closed… Easy to say, hear but difficult to digest because some people won’t take “no” for an answer and will lead to another round of negotiating and the stating the obvious.
- no and yes - an oblivious answer, you are either “in” or”out” it means “no” , “I can’t give you what you want, but we’ll see what can happen” this is the “Should I tell you how I’m feeling now?, or.. Just save ourselves from deeper tragedy? or.. We’re already wrecked anyway..” line… once in our lifetime we come to the point in our lives the we have to choose a path… that would forever change our lives… like a “no” that branches to a “yes”.
So If we put it in a Matrix with the choice given the possible outcome would be :
Karnaugh map :
– | yy | yn | ny | nn |
yy | yes | yes | yes | yes |
yn | yes | no | yes | no |
ny | yes | no | no | no |
nn | yes | no | no | no |
It’s my fault, I think too much… maybe it’s time I throw away caution… and just be surprised at whatever possible outcome.
All in all the best answer to all of it is choose the “no” that branches to a “yes” scenario… take it from me..
Which lead me to the Equation of Love: The Love Formula we can express it in a simple mathematical formula.

Yo!..you're here at
ahhhh.. @_@
it all depends with what’s being negotiated, huh?
Now if it’s that infamous L word…
not that rationality goes right down the drain, but that it takes the initial stage and is later overpowered by emotions. (Usually)
that is why, as Jane Austen (I think) once said, We are All fools in love. @_@;;
