    Hi Roks,
    hrmmm come think of it.. I don’t know the actual spot. But my PDA managed to detect a WiFi Signal at SM San Lazaro. Haven’t fully tested it yet and Had only been there once :( but I think it was somewhere on the 3rd Floor. If you ever find the exact spot. Tell me And I’ll gladly edit my list to your discovery and add your name on the list.

    Ei there! Just a newbie in the wireless arena. I would like to ask this: would a wlan device be able to access a wi-fi hotspot (such as a PSP)? just asking thanks :)

    @BluePhoenix

    welcome to the QuickStop Project.

    Actually, yes you can connect to a Wi-Fi Hotspot using your PSP…although I’m extremely sorry but my PSP broke down before i can experiment on it.. so I’m not actually sure how it goes.

    but here’s what I’ll do… I’ll research on that.

    Stay tuned.

    Thanks for that Jaren. I actually tried it at Burger King in Glorietta. But, it’s extremely slow. I don’t know if it is about the connection or number of users. I’m also thinking that this might be due to the PSP itself–since it’s main purpose is for gaming and not for Wi-Fi browsing…

    Nevertheless, thanks still! :)

    Guys try this… this is tested and proven for how many months already… TAPA KING at Pavilion Bldg, Edsa Central, Mandaluyong. FREE Wi-Fi… no kidding. And hey… dont attempt to connect your PSP to weak wireless signals. a PSP uses B standard… so with the PSP, you might have problems finding wireless signals that can be seen easily by laptops or PDAs.

    as for the free WI-FI on TAPA king… nice, I’ll add it to my list. Thank you very much.

    Hi Anyone (Wifi Gurus)?

    I’m a newbie when it comes to Wifi. How do I secure my laptop when getting connected via an unsecured wireless network?

    By the way, there’s free WiFi at Coffee Bean, Ortigas Park — that’s between Ruby and Emerald avenues. Slow, though.

    Thanks,

    Harry
