Am I on the right track? I don’t know but as far as I can tell I’m doing good. Got my own apartment, I pay my own bills (water bill, electric bill, DSL) I got my own Core 2 Duo Laptop, I have my O2 XDA, I even have enough funds left to support my weird cravings… even buy an Iced Java Chip from Starbuck’s at least once a day… ooohhh even buying Heroes Season 1 DVD set.

And it’s all because of blogging, I Get paid to blog, I blog for money, well not really blog for money… It’s a perk, that I can earn money through blogging. But mainly I blog, because I love blogging. I’m addicted to it. I think?!

In Addition to my blogging Gigs and such, I found another Pay Per Post site (referred to me by a recent blogger acquintance Rey of My Blogville - life as it is) and it’s called Smorty. Well basically you make unique original articles about a certain topic that they assign to you, make a post of at least 200 words then submit it… you’re done. Now wait for the cash to flow…

A thing that’s cool about it is that you start at $6 a post but as soon as you make more cool post you ranking gets higher and you earn Smorty “Smart Score” that determines whether you receive higher paid ad campaigns, bringing you up to even $100 per post. WOW!

You get paid on a weekly basis. As soon as your post has been approved, which takes 5 days, you will be paid for that blog article on the first payment day of that week. And paid through PayPal. Paypal is a must now a days so better sign up.

Now An Interesting Concept on Smorty is that it has a unique blogger ranking system. Blogs that have a higher Google Page Rank you will be offered higher paying campaigns as well as the lower paid campaigns. And Smorty’s calculates it’s own smart score system, it’s created by combining the following factors

Google PageRank
Alexa Ranking
Return rate of given tasks
Approval/Decline ratio of completed tasks
Number of completed tasks

The higher Smorty score, the more likely to receive more high-priced offers which lead to more earnings.

This sounds good Jaren. Thanks for sharing it. I’m gonna try it out. I hope their approval system is faster than pay per post. I’ve been waiting for several days now and my blog is not yet approved.

my blog got approved in a couple of hours, but I’m still waiting for the approval on the post.

we won’t really know if it’s good or bad until we tried it.. I’d say I’ll give two weeks to test.. or you can test it too.

then we could share experiences right?

oh you know what.. Rey My post for smorty was declined I’m editing it right not…

the reason for the decline was that it should only contain links from the sponsor…

which is kinda dumb.. but heck were getting paid to do it right…
and for PPP I think your blog should be at least a month old and about 10-20 posts..

well actually getting your blog accepted is easy…

but what they check on the alexa and PR thingie is the value and payout rate for each post…

the higher the page rank and traffic, the higher your rate…

let’s say for a PR 0 you get the average of $6 for a PR 1 blog you might get an average of $8 that’s what I understood on reading the smorty FAQ

my adsense is cancelled…my smorty posts have been approved…no opportunity just yet…nwe, is blogsvertise ok with PPP? they (PPP) say your blog has to be 90 days old?

do you know of any writing gig? heck, i need money…

darn, i hope my alexa and PR would rise soon…

well If PPP has not approved your blog.. because it has to have certain criterias and such… PR, Traffic, Alexa rank.. are the basis for PPP…

But try blogsvertise… I earned my first Buck in blogging at blogsvertise plus it has a very fast approval system… also if you want to earn by blogging.. paid personal topics maybe a bit hard to find…

so try thinking of blogging about a new niche…

for example… I earn about $10 a week on blogsertise posts for this site…

but I earn as much as $20-30 a week on my health blog http://www.fitnessinform.com on blogsvertise…

SO better reasses your blogging strategy.. and focus first on gaining traffic to your blog…

Earning Online and through blog… can’t be done overnight.. ( based on my experience) hope this helps
