the QuickStop Project

I did some modifications to the QuickStop Project’s Permalinks

before it was

/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

and now its

/%category%/%postname%/

which is very clean and I like it, also added a permalink redirect so as not to bother with those that have links to my site with the previous permalink.

Also I have upgraded to Wordpress Version 2.5.1 which made a whole lot of “shits” for  me and messed up some of the plugins installed and I have running.

I lost Ultimate Tag Warrior — it seems to be not working on this version of Wordpress 2.5.1, which actually messed up my categories and tags for some reason… and I had to rebuilt the categories and tags which took me all night to fix also since my sitemap was messed up, I had to rebuilt it too. No Worries everything seems to be working fine now.

I was able to upgrade 4Avatars and is now enabled again on my comment page.

Also got these plugins working and running on the QuickStop Project and updated to the newest version (upgraded automatically) - a cool feature on WP 2.5.1, BTW.

And Oh Yes… I almost forgot…

the QuickStop Project has two new Bloggers…I’d like to introduce to you :

Which Audience to Love, the Sociable or the Loyal?

Starting a blog takes a lot of guts. While you finally decide to expose yourself in the cyber world wherein you hardly know anyone personally, you also struggle with the idea whether you’d have anyone reading you at all. However, directing your content to a particular group of readers helps in keeping a steady traffic, but what about the other potential readers that you might gain?

There are many account users who contribute to traffic but the lot consisting of social butterflies is hardly ever helpful in giving you feedback and insight regarding your blogs. They read but they’re not really interested and this shows from the absence of comment or of a mere click on one of your ads. After all, they’re only interested in expanding their contacts and groups list.

So what do you do to maintain both traffic and readership? Take note of your regular visitors who actually read and comment on your blogs. Know them well by finding out which of your posts attract them most. As such, continue writing these kinds of posts, along with some topics and ideas that are of your interest, which you think can be relatable to your readers’ interests. Don’t write topics that came from ideas that you never, ever think about, much more those topics that easily capture the social crowd just so you’d have a high traffic. If some your ideas just really can’t gain you comments, let them be. Later on, when your readers get used to your peculiar thinking, they’d soon come out of their shell and have the guts to say something. One tip is to always respect your readers’ comments. In one way or another, there’d always be learning and exchange of intellectual bits.

Blogging Must Have’s : A Contact Page

A primary must in blogging – have a contact info page!

While you may think that blogging – professional or personal – is merely putting down emotions or information on words, it is always best if the writer behind the works is proved to be existing.

Never forget to put a page that is solely dedicated for your contact information – phone number and email address are enough. A decent photo is a plus so as to actually know the face behind the name and such.
Why do people blog anyway? Admit it, even as a personal blogger, you would want to get something out of your leisure writing. You would want someone to discover your talent and skill for words.

While you may have a readily-available comment box, a message directly sent to your contact data is better communication with you and your reader. Especially if you blog for professional means, a direct contact means your readers are willing and interested in giving you feedback regarding your work. And who knows, you just might get the break you have been waiting for.

Ultimately, as a contact info page proves your existence, there is a higher chance that your readers would take you seriously.

For about a month, I have been obsessively playing this game whenever I have time.. even forgetting personal hygiene and sleeping just to be able to play this game..and now I’m actually blogging it…

Ok.. so this adds to my gaming addictions… that includes.. Civilization, Fallout… and lots more.. If I add my whole list of gaming addiction it would be too long…

Special Force Online - A tactical Military First Person Shooter (FPS) game… a game where you can be the one-man army to go all out and mop up everyone that crosses your path, or the tactician that using skills and maneuvers to get them from behind enemy lines or be the “lone wolf” - the sniper…

You create your own soldier and mold it into the super soldier that you are. Choose between the different task force characters such as SAS, Delta Force, GSG 9 GIGN, SPETSNAZ.

Earn Special Points or SP to be able to purchase more weapons and gear to equip your soldier. Also rack up experience points to able to earn a high rank.

Now that you’ve chosen a soldier… you need a weapon…

“I NEED A WEAPON”

Even the weapons you equip your soldiers are so realistic that you have to check its strengths and weaknesses such as rate of fire, fire power, recoil rate and weight so that it can fit your style of fighting.
